Special constraints

  • For review articles, resources of the last decade (10 years) can be used with the possibility of no more than 20% of older resources if necessary.
  • For applied and empirical research, 80% of the resources used in a research article should be relatively new (not more than 5 years old) to ensure the state-of-the-art.
  • Articles should preferably be on Environmental Design in Iraq and Middle East but research on other locations are also welcomed.
  • New technologies, advanced approaches and methods are ideal topics for this section.

Supplementary data policies

  • Supplementary data should be in excel or SPSS file format.
  • Census data acquired from third-party sources should be submitted as supplementary data.
  • A 10% sample of the questionnaires and survey raw data should be submitted for validation.
